DESCRIPTION:An opportunity to support families in our community was recentl
y brought to our attention\, and we would love to share it with our Devion
Christian School families. Devon Alliance Church is hosting Stuff the St
age\, collecting non-perishable food items for the Leduc Food Bank. Their
goal is to have the church stage filled with food by Thanksgiving Sunday!
Food insecurity affects families in our community\, and this is a practi
cal way to show Christ’s love and care for our neighbours. As we give th
anks for God’s provision\, we can also share with those who could use so
me extra support. If your family is able to contribute\, please bring non
-perishable food items to school by Friday\, October 9\, and we will bring
them over to the church during our chapel service. Every donation\, large
or small\, can help make a difference. This is also a meaningful opportu
nity to talk with your children about gratitude\, generosity\, and caring
for others. Thank you for considering how your family can help. Let’s j
oin together to stuff the stage and bless our community this Thanksgiving!
